Welcome

We are happy to see old friends and new faces Kiwanis Family Dentistry. When you visit our clinic for the first time, we will answer any questions you may have about our services, technologies, and what you can expect from us. We treat our patients with compassion and a sincere desire to help. Here is what you need to know before your first appointment at Kiwanis Family Dentistry:

WE MAKE IT EASY

1. Booking an Appointment
Booking is easy! There are a few convenient ways to schedule your first appointment. Don’t want to talk on the phone? You can self-book by clicking “Book Now” on our website which takes you to our self-scheduling platform. Other ways to book: text/call our office number at 519-570-0404 or send us an email at office@kiwanisfamilydentistry.ca with an appointment request. 

2. New Patient Forms 
We will send you an email containing a link to your new patient forms which you can easily fill out and e-sign on your phone or computer.

3. Insurance
To complete the new patient form, we kindly ask that you provide the details written on your insurance card so we can add your plan into your patient profile. If you aren’t sure how to fill this out, send us a text or email with the photo of your insurance card and we will enter it for you. 

4. Brush & Floss
Give those teeth a good brush before coming in. This will allow Dr. Andrej and Dr. Daniella to examine your teeth more efficiently. 

5. When you arrive: SMILE! 
Our friendly team will greet you. Enjoy hot/cold beverages in our waiting area or play on the Nintendo Switch 2 or arcade machines while you wait. When the doctor is ready to see you, our assistant will bring you to your room to begin the appointment. 

6. Exam, x-rays, and cleaning 
We will do a thorough examination of your head, neck, mouth, and teeth aided by x-rays to identify any issues you might have. Talk to us about any of your concerns or expectations for what you would like so we make sure we are on the same page. At this appointment, the lines of communication are open and we will help you understand everything going on in your mouth. Don’t worry if you haven’t been to the dentist in a while – this is a judgement free zone. We are here to make you feel comfortable and provide the best care possible. . 

7. Treatment Plan
Once your doctor has the full picture of what is going on, we will provide you with a treatment plan to fix the issues we have identified. We will explain your treatment options to make sure you fully understand what we are recommending and why. Don’t be afraid to ask us any questions you have on your mind. We’ll answer them all! 

8. Schedule Next Visit 
If a treatment appointment is necessary, head out to the front desk and pick a date/time based on your availability and the doctor’s recommendation. If no treatment is necessary, we can schedule you in for your next maintenance (cleaning) appointment. You will get a 2 week and 2 day reminder by text before that next visit.

You'll find our main parking lot behind the building, with plenty of overflow parking available along the street on both sides of the plaza.
